Hemlock Canadice State Forest

Hemlock and Canadice Lakes

Hemlock and Canadice Lakes are the unique and relatively unknown gems of the Finger Lakes region.  They are magnificent, untouched natural resources surrounded by 6,849 acres of designated State Forest Land.  This land is managed by the State of New York's Department of Environmental Conservation.  The main features of the Hemlock Canadice State Forest are Canadice Lake and Hemlock Lake.  Both of these unique Finger Lakes are essentially all natural shorelines, protected from the development found on all the other Finger Lakes in the Region.

These lakes represent the absolute best that New York has to offer for the pure nature enthusiasts and lovers of the great outdoors.  The Hemlock Canadice State Forest boasts   great hiking trails, small boating & paddling, fishing, biking, snowmobiling and much more. There are many accessible areas around both Hemlock and Canadice Lakes.  Hemlock Park, located at the North End of Hemlock is owned & maintained by the Town of Livonia, is great for picturesque picnics and gatherings.
